If you are not receiving prescription notifications from Walmart Pharmacy, your mobile device may be blocking Walmart’s messaging short code. Follow these steps to unblock the short code and resume receiving timely notifications.
Step 1: Text "HELP" to the appropriate short code:
- Walmart Pharmacy: 85166
- Walmart Health Services: 60989
- Walmart Vision: 88094
- Walmart Healthcare Research Institute: 31458
- Sam’s Club Pharmacy: 85874
- Sam’s Club Health Services: 40628
- Sam’s Club Vision: 54400
- Sam’s Club Research: 64584
If you do not receive a reply, continue with the steps below
Step 2: Check for blocks or spam filters on your device
For Android:
- Open the Google Messages app.
- Select your profile photo or icon, then select More options > Spam & blocked.
- Find the conversation or contact in the list and select Unblock.
For iOS:
- Go to Settings > Messages > Blocked Contacts.
- To unblock a number, swipe left on the number in the list and select Unblock.
Alternatively, select Edit, then select the delete icon next to the number.
Step 3: Contact your mobile carrier
- If you still do not receive messages, contact your mobile carrier and ask if there are any restrictions or blocks on the specific short code.
